For the last seven years Jennifer Lynn Smith’s haunting vocals and rhythmic guitar have served to deliver her message of hope to listeners of the Greater Kansas City area. Currently Jennifer is studying music at the University of Central Missouri with her husband Alex. Jennifer performs solo, with her husband on hand drums, and sometimes with bass virtuoso Dylan Reiter and 2008 Kansas State and Winfield Champion mandolinist Josh Hungate. Together they create a unique blend of Contemporary Folk and World Beat Celtic/Bluegrass. Their influences include Nickel Creek, Madison Greene, Norah Jones, Jennifer Knapp, Eden's Bridge, Waterdeep, and many more.
